Hi! I created check-in instructions with pictures, key code and directions for our tricky light fixtures. Our first guest had no problem but our second guest was not able to find the check in instructions. I would like to confirm the check in instructions are sent to the guests prior to checking in and maybe the second guest just wasn’t aware?
I found this article which confirms that check in instructions are available to guests 48 hours before the start of their reservation.
From my own experiences as a guest, I get an email reminder ahead of the reservation, which details more about where to find check in information, once it's available.
@Sarah5124 ask them to confirm they've read it. Maybe they don't have internet for a few days, or it gets in their spam filter. I send the message via Airbnb but also via Whatsapp Yes, that's extra work but avoids problems.
