Confirm your listing type for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue

Airbnb is asking me to "Confirm your listing type for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue" to complete set up. Support sent me some generic articles that did not talk about this question specifically. I am a co-host of another listing, but it shares the same address as the one I'm trying to post, (there is a main house and a smaller guest cottage on the property). It is not my primary residence. I think one of these answers reports occupancy tax and the other reports exempt, but I'm not sure which one and just trying to do the right thing.

Here are the choices it gives me:

1.

You host one of these two listing types: Type 1 — Your listing is one of multiple that you host in the same city, and it’s not located in a single, two, or three-family dwelling that includes your primary residence. OR Type 2 — Your listing is located in a two or three-family dwelling that includes your primary residence.

2.
You host a different type of space: Example — Your listing is your primary residence in a single-family dwelling unit.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Here is a screenshot of the question:

I’m confused. Do you live there or not?

1.

Type 1 is you don’t live there at all.

Type 2 is a multi-family unit (duplex or triplex) and you live in one of the units. Cottage is probably counted as one of the units.

2.

It’s a single family home where you live most of the time .

If you co-host and don’t live there you are “Type 1.”

(So weird that in Kansas City the designations are the opposite numbering system).

Thanks! I don't live there at all but I'm not sure if it's really one of multiple since it's the same address and I'm only a co-host on the other one.

If this is the main residence for the owner they can click that option and the listing is under their name. They can click Option 2.

I don't understand your point of response to Christine.

You don't live in the property/have it as your main residence  do you ?- so why do you think you have any option but to tick Type 1. if you have set the listings up on your name rather than the owners.
