Difficulty Navigating New Pricing Layout and Editing Discounts
Hello,
With the new pricing layout, everything seems to have become quite disorganized and confusing.
We manage several properties, and we are now unable to open the calendar for a specific property to set up prices, rules, discounts, etc., as we used to.
Currently, it appears that only price setup is available on the property-specific calendar.
All other options are now located in the general calendar view, which includes all properties.
Additionally, I’m unable to locate where to edit the discounts.
I’ve noticed that the discounts I had set for this year are now also being applied to next year, but I can’t find any way to manage or change them.
The previous layout was so simple and straightforward. Unfortunately, this update has made things significantly more complicated and less user-friendly.
Could someone please let me know where I can find and edit the discounts?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,

The lack of price details on the updated calendar is a huge problem @Vilamoura-Villas0
It makes it very difficult to manage prices. We hope it will be fixed.
What types of discounts are you using? Do you mean your discounts are in the rule sets?

Tried to speak with support but they kept repeating the same things "those options are no longer available".
But if they are no longer available how can dicounts still being applied and we can see them anywhere to stop them or edit them???
This makes no sense at all

@Vilamoura-Villas0 there are discount options for weekly stays, monthly stays and custom trip length discounts. There are also custom promotions, as well as discounts that you can build into rule sets (if you're using professional hosting tools). Which type of discount are you having trouble with?

For example, when opening a specific house calendar, we can now only edit the price, whereas previously, we were able to edit everything from this view (don't know how to upload images so left a link):
So at this stage, making edits has to be through the general calendar view is an absolute nightmare for those managing several properties. In this view we can access the options which were before available on "specific house calendar"
But the discounts and promotions have disapeared from this options menu.
I see that we are able to create specific rules just for discounts, but at the end of the season we would endup with a rules menu with hundreds of rules.
Makes no sense at all.
Everything was so good so why these "illuminaties" start messing what is working so well

The discounts are still editable where they used to be in the regular calendar (in the Pricing tab on the right):
After the update there was a problem that one couldn't add a new Custom Promotion, but Airbnb quickly fixed it and it can now be done again on the regular calendar.
The only feature that I'm aware of that was removed from the regular calendar on purpose, is Custom Trip lengths. Support says we now have to use the new minimum nights feature for custom trip lengths:
However, this is only available for nights that don't have rules. When a night has a rule, you have to add the trip length to the rule. This means there will be many more rules, as you've also said.
There are still two errors on the updated calendar that I'm aware of. One is that you cannot see the price details anymore when you select a range of nights. We can't see the total that the guest will pay and what the host will earn. Support says they're working on it and many hosts are complaining - it seems to be taking very long to fix.
The other issue is that we can't make notes on the regular calendar anymore. So for unbooked or blocked nights, the only way to make a note is on the multi-calendar.
I'm not aware of any other functions that have been moved or removed, and I haven't seen additional complaints from other hosts. The only other issue I can think of, is that some hosts say they have trouble unblocking nights when they work with 30-day bookings (I didn't really understand, so I'm not exactly sure what that issue is 😀)

It's a complete mess, with options scattered across both the general and specific calendars.
This has taken several steps backward.
I never felt more lost than now...
