What is the maximum period you can stay in an Airbnb?

Hi @Zoe601

From a purely technical standpoint, Airbnb allows reservations for long-term stays up to 28 days or longer (often up to several months), but the absolute maximum period for any specific listing depends on two major factors, The Host's Maximum Stay Settings: Every host has full control over their calendar. Many set a maximum stay limit (e.g., 7 days, 14 days, or 30 days) to prevent long-term wear and tear or to keep their calendar open for higher-paying short-term turnovers. Local Tenancy Laws: In many jurisdictions worldwide, if a guest stays consecutively for more than 28 to 30 days, they automatically establish legal tenant rights under local law. To avoid the legal complexities of landlord-tenant disputes or eviction processes, many hosts strictly cap their maximum stay at 27 or 29 days. If you are looking to book a long-term stay, the best approach is to filter your search by your exact desired dates. If a listing doesn't show up, it means the duration exceeds that specific host's maximum cap!

Safe travels! ✈️
