Embed code provided from AirBnB resulting in 404 error page

I have had my AirBnB listings coded into my squarespace website for some time now and it was just brought to my attention that the preview of the listing shows up fine on squarespace but when you click the link to open the listing in AirBnB you get a 404 error page. I believe it is an issue with the embed link being provided from AirBnB - can you please advise?

Hi @Jourdan13 , thank you so much for sharing your report!

Earlier we noticed a similar topic where hosts reported a similar issue. We later got to know that it's a bug and the concerned teams are working towards solving it.

Hi @Bhumika

Is there any further update to the issue? I have a site that is experiencing the same problem (just added the embedded widget yesterday)

Still getting the issue. May have to seek alternative solutions if there is no imminent fix on the horizon.

@Bhumika what is the latest on this? this issue is still happening. please help!! If you click on any Airbnb link from our site, you get a 404 error.  https://sites.google.com/view/vgrentals/galveston?authuser=0

Hello,

The bug should be simple to solve. The redirect link is redirecting towards airbnb.com/room/.... while it should be: airbnb.com/rooms/...

The missing S is where the link is wrong.
I tried overriding this in the link itself, but it seems that airbnb overrides it in their Javascript file anyways

Appreciate a quick support on this

I can confirm I'm seeing the same issue, it appears to be an issue with the javascript SDK that redirects to https://www.airbnb.co.uk/room/11...53 instead of https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/11...53. This is currently breaking the link to my airbnb listing from my website so any idea of a timeframe for the fix would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

I'm working a client website and I'm facing same issue? I think the problem from JavaScript that came with code it's keeps overwrite everything also the HTML part from /rooms/ to /room/.

Seeing the same issue on our end. Any updates on this?
