Hello everyone! I would really appreciate your honest feedback on my Airbnb listing.
Could you please take a look at the photos and let me know if the first image is strong enough and if the overall presentation feels attractive and professional?

Hi @Flávia-E-Simone0 😊
The first year can feel intense — there’s a lot to learn, and feedback doesn’t always tell the full story at first.
About the photos, the most important thing is that the first image feels bright, welcoming, and immediately gives a sense of comfort. Guests usually decide in a split second whether to keep scrolling.
If you can, I’d suggest choosing a photo with natural light that clearly shows the main space, rather than focusing on details. Overall presentation matters more than perfection.
Don’t be discouraged by the rating — small adjustments over time (especially consistency and guest expectations) really do add up.
Wishing you a lovely holiday season and a great second year of hosting ahead 🎄✨ Merry Christmas!

Your biggest issue is that at 4.50 the rating you have what Airbnb considers to be a poor listing . @Flávia-E-Simone0
low ratings lead to you showing up much lower in the Airbnb rankings.
as most of the guests giving you poor reviews relate to cleanliness issues this should be something that's quite easy for you to address
are you using third party cleaners? Do you ask for photos after each clean?

Your place looks to be in an ideal location! There are at least three points I would recommend considering for improvement:
1) Main photo: you want to find something more personalized and welcoming than the photo of a tall building; 2) your place needs some touches of warmth and personal style, in the present form it is too anonymous; 3) the bed: I understand this is a kitnet/loft situation, but the mattress needs to be better presented and arranged with linen even if it is a very simple accommodation. I hope this helps you!
