Guest requesting partial payment plan

Have a guest that indicates that they want to rent, but "chose" the wrong payment option.  They wanted to simply put downpayment down now and pay as they go towards stay next summer.  Is that even an option with Airbnb?

A payment plan is offered (under specific conditions) by Airbnb only, the host has no control about it.
