We are interested in renting an RV as a stationary lodging on a nice site already hooked up to water and power, etc. Near a picturesque toursit/arts town. Anyone doing that? The 32' RV is nicely appointed and fully equiped. We are not interested in renting the vehicle for travel but rather as a small cottage-like environment in a nice setting. With the slide out the square footage is about 300, but with the awning the indoor/outdoor living space is close to 500 sq feet.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Hi Ben! 2 years late to this party.....but I am wondering how this has worked out? I am considering the same plan in South Texas/Gulf Coast. Would like to place an RV in a nice park semi permanently and Air BNB to pay expenses. Have you had any luck?
Hey there
Have you had any luck with this?
Hey Joe,
Have you ever taken other people's RVs and rented them out at your park? Or offered Rental parking where a renter can put up their RV on your site and rent it on AIR BNB?
Good afternoon Joe,
We currently live in NM and have a 48ft toy hauler that we are looking to rent out. I have suggested to my significant other that we look into places like Angel fire. would you at all be interested in partnering up with an additional RV at your park?
.
Dana, I don't know myself, but I heard this Global Glamping Summit in Long Beach, CA Nov. 27-28 is a place you can learn about RV/glamping business solutions, products, exclusive discounts, and current industry tips and regulations from glamping industry expert speakers and exhibits. Here's the website if you're interested: www.glampingsummit.com/?utm_source=AirBnb&utm_campaign=GGSPR
I listed mine as you would list any other listing for rent. Within the speficiations you can list the rental as "RV". I have and am very specific that our RV does not leave the location. I provide a list of things to do in this area and list our site as a quiet restful location for removal of stress and lots of fishing!
Good Luck with your rental! Your location sounds devine!
Hi I'm looking for ANY places on a campground near lake or river that rents campers and RVs already on the lots with water and electric hookup. We use Airbnb so much but this task has been impossible or maybe I'm not finding the right links.. can anyone help? Missouri area.
We will be back on Airbnb after we finish up a repair on the rv. We have been snoozed since October! However, once we are back you will be able to find our listing under 42Palms Oasis! In Jacksonville, FL. We live on the St. John's River. The RV is only large enough for 2 adults. We have one queen bed and one couch bed that isn't very comfortable but could be used if you don't want to share the bed. I think to look for RV's within airbnb you just have to specifiy in your search. Our area is very hot in the summer so we get most of our rentals from Sept thru May. Most people avoid the area in June and July and August to avoid the 100's heat.
Good Luck in finding your rentals!
Best, Glenda
Hi, I am renting my RV in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. I just started last month, May, and I am getting many bookings. I am putting the link so you can see how I am listing it. Copy and paste in your browser.
RV
How do we reach you for reservations?
Hi, I'm looking to buy a vintage trailer, have it restored, and then rent it out. Problem is I don’t have land so I need to find a place to park it. Perhaps on a winery or nice RV Resort. I live in San Francisco so Napa / Sonoma is my back yard. Lots of tourists year-round.
The business model is to put the trailer (or trailers) on a fully hooked up lot and rent it out on airbnb. It will remail stationary.
My question is what type of rv resort or campground should I be looking at where they will allow me to do this? How should I approach land owners? Has anyone done this before?
I was also thinking of installing the hookups myself as part of the deal with the landlord. I know that costs $, but if I spend dollars on infrastructure maybe they give a better deal on rent.
Thanks,
Ben

Hey Ben,
Did you ever find out the answer to your question about Airbnb-ing an RV on a rented campground? I’ve also been curious about this and am wondering what your research has turned up.
Thanks,
Abby
Hello I just found this post. My question is insurance. My homeowners will not cover my travel trailer if being rented for short term example being bed n breakfast, or ABNB. I can on my home with an added Bnb policy. For those that are renting travel trailers that are parked at a resort , who is your insurance through.
