Historic Home and Insurance

Hello! I am thinking of purchasing a historic home built in 1775 that has been refurbished.  Even though it has updates will I have a problem getting insurance because it is so old?

Thanks !

Stacey

Good question - your business insurance agent is the one to ask. The local planning commission office is where you'd go for your business license. They are the ones to advise you on regulations pertaining to public safety.

Hi @Stacey533 , how are you progressing with finding a reliable insurance provider? Looks like @Kitty-and-Creek0 have helped with a sound advice for your question. Have you had a chance to reach an insurance agent to understand the intricacies related to insurance? What did they advise?
