How do I change my settings to approve guests before their reservation is confirmed?

Hi. I'm new at AIRBNB and wanted to publish my apartment with no concerns of being charged for "cancelation" or any other feature you may have.
Please help me with the ability of accepting my own clients for my apartment so we both can be happy about choosing of used AIRBNB service.

@Noa368 I think you mean you want to approve guest so switch off instant book and/or switch on request to book.

@Noa368 go into your listing, then click on policies and rules and then scroll down to Instant Book then click edit

As a new host the Airbnb Help website is a great resource as it has FAQs on all the basics on managing your STR business on Airbnb .

publish your listing and immediately go into the listing once it's published and remove the IB function 

think about what vetting questions you want to ask so you can ensure guests are a good fit.

I'd recommend only taking short term bookings for the first three months or so to help you build up reviews and familiarise yourself with how Airbnb works .
