Is there a site for me To look at with guestscseeking accommodation
Guests will find your accommodation in the search system. Airbnb promotes new listings by giving them temporary a higher position in the search results. After some time you can also use the statistics pages to see amount of views.
A noticed your listing shows up in the search system when searching for accommodation in Clonmel.
I see on your listing you want an experienced guest as first guest (it is set by you).
IMO the description is very minimal and is only about public transport, not describing (promoting !) the accommodation.
You can keep an eye on social media, like local facebook groups to find people looking for accommodation in your area.
Then sent them the link to your listing.
Hi thank you for your message I'm not sure how to change that setting regarding 1st booking can you advise plz
Hi @Robbie181 👋
It's lovely to see you joining in conversations on the Community Center!
I'm tagging @Emiel1 here so they receive a notification of your message. Quick tip: if you type "@" and then the username, this will tag the member that you're replying to.
I hope this helps to keep the conversation flowing, and if you've got any questions, just ask. 😊
Hi @Robbie181
You can find the settings here: Booking settings for hosts
It's been a while since you posted, how are you getting on?
@Robbie181 Congrats on just getting started with Airbnb. In order to get your first few bookings, what @Emiel1 stated is true. However you must start with the basics.
1. Your pics are barely viewable due to being too dark.
2. Some of the pics that you can see don't look quite ready for pictures such as cleaner on the coffee table, towels hanging from chairs.
3. Who are your guests? You should be speaking to them in your descrption. Your description is very short and doesn't tell much about your listing.
It's one bedroom in a shared home but you have 5 beds listed, this is confusing.
Things to work on- Better pics that are brighter and show your place well lit, Show where they will be sleeping. Show the shared living spaces in a more staged picture ready format.
Why do people visit your area? Use your description to speak to those guests. Show some photos of attractions that are nearby.
I find ChatGPt to be very helpful to get the juices flowing on descriptions as well as why people come to visit your area.
Hope this helps and best of luck on your hosting journey!
