Hi everyone, I’m curious how other Airbnb hosts handle situations where they need to make a last-minute change to a listing, such as updating amenities, house rules, photos, or check-in information.
@James5092 just make the changes as things develop. Be aware though that any guest already booked before the change will expect the amenities etc listed when they booked and can complain if these are withdrawn.
Given that most hosts improve their listings over time changes are not a big issue.
Actually I don't like for this last minute I like being normal same before the price this week and the price and weak days I like that this can't make me same before
@James5092 I just make the change. If it is impacting future guests that are already booked, I send them a message that includes details about the change.
Was going to say the exact same thing🤗

Last minute as in guests arriving and there are changes - I will send them a message asap alerting them of the changes.
HI @James5092,
Do you find that this happens often?
Other hosts have shared their views on how to deal with such situations, please let us know what you think 🙂
Thanks,
Emilie

I had to inform my guests that I added a security camera to view the parking area in the backyard. This meant I had to update my listing and I had to send over 30 messages to previously booked guests. Most all the guests were perfectly fine with it and thanked me. Only two had questions and we were able to answer those. The answer to your question is communication is key. Do
it as early as possible, and depending upon the change, you may be surprised by how accommodating guests can be.
Check if you have booking at that time and if not - do it 🙂
