Im Airbnb owner in Jakarta City Indonesia after two years i havent got many guests booking yet
Hello @Agung19,
Two years of hosting already, congratulations! How is tourist going in Jakarta City in general lately? Can you see if other listings similar to yours are busy or also on the quieter side?
Our other hosts might be able to make some suggestions to help you boost your bookings - @Karen114 @Hugo990 @Greg2406 @Oksana127 @Anton7298, do you have any ideas for Agung?
Thanks in advance for your help, everyone 😊
Thankyou Rebbeca for your response I really apreciate
You're very welcome @Agung19
You've got some wonderful support here from some of our Hosts. Have any of the answers helped?
If so, it's always a lovely gesture to pop a like on the comments 👍 and mark a top answer ☑️ . It's like a big virtual hug to the members who supported you and the best answer also supports other Hosts who may have similar questions in the future. 😊

@Agung19 Make sure your headlines and descriptions match what you are offering. Use your headline space to highlight the features of your area and amenities. All your headlines are My Room in Jakarta. Some examples of headlines, Steps to Theatere, Downtown Jakarta, Pet Friendly, City Views.
Include some pics of attractions in the area as well as an exterior pic of the property.
The space looks like it may need a bit of cleaning. I see crumbs on the stove and what looks like mold or dirt on the bathroom walls. It also appears to be a little cluttery or crowded.
My suggestion would be new pics after some freshened up paint, decluttering and some cleaning.
Thankyou verymuch Karen for your advise
@Agung19 Getting more guests on Airbnb can be challenging, but with some adjustments, you can attract more bookings and turn your listing into a go-to option for visitors in Jakarta. Here are some ideas to help:
Make Your Listing Stand Out: Make sure your photos are top quality. Use bright, well-lit images that showcase the best aspects of your space, like unique design features, cozy furniture, or local touches. Consider professional photography if you haven’t already, as it can make a big difference in how guests perceive your listing.
Write a Compelling Description: Think of your listing description as your first conversation with potential guests. Describe what makes your place special—mention nearby attractions, local eateries, or unique amenities you provide. Use positive, inviting language to help guests imagine themselves enjoying a relaxing stay.
Offer a Competitive Price: Look at similar listings in your area and see what they’re charging. If you’re struggling to get bookings, consider adjusting your price slightly. You can also enable a special discount for first-time guests or those booking longer stays. This may increase your visibility and attract more attention.
Gather Reviews: Reviews are crucial. If you haven’t hosted many guests yet, you could offer a slight discount in exchange for feedback from guests. Be sure to respond to all reviews warmly and professionally, as this shows future guests that you’re responsive and caring.
Highlight Local Recommendations: Guests often look for insider tips on what to see and do. Include a guidebook in your listing with recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and unique experiences. This makes your listing feel more personalized and appealing to travelers looking for an authentic experience in Jakarta.
Maintain High Responsiveness: Airbnb’s algorithm favors hosts who respond quickly to inquiries and booking requests. Aim to reply as soon as possible and answer questions thoroughly. This builds trust and reassures guests that you’ll be attentive to their needs.
Offer Special Touches: Small details like complimentary tea, coffee, or a local snack can leave a lasting impression on guests. A welcome note or a simple guidebook can add a personal touch that makes guests feel welcome and cared for, which often leads to good reviews and repeat bookings.
Ensure Cleanliness and Comfort: Cleanliness is one of the top factors for positive reviews. Make sure every part of your space is spotless and well-maintained. Pay attention to small details, like fresh linens, well-organized storage, and a pleasant aroma in the room, as these make a big difference in guest satisfaction.
Promote Your Listing Outside Airbnb: Use social media to promote your listing. Post beautiful images of your property on platforms like Instagram or Facebook with relevant hashtags to reach travelers looking for a place to stay in Jakarta. You can also encourage past guests to share their experience, which brings more exposure.
With a combination of strong presentation, excellent service, and consistent updates to keep your listing fresh and attractive, you'll increase your chances of attracting more guests. Good luck!
Thankyou Oksana for your response
