How to make short stays worth offering, while not making long stays too expensive using Airbnb software
Airbnb hosts: has anyone figured out an efficient way to charge more for the shortest stays, such as one night, which does not result in long stays being too expensive? There are weekly discounts, etc., but Airbnb has limited those discounts now, and I'm finding it hard to manage.
Rulesets offer only certain numbers of nights, but not eight, nine, ten nights, etc. They used to, and I don’t know why they stopped. I sent a suggestion.
This would be like an 'economies of scale' principle applied to a rental; the larger (or in this case the longer) one stays the cheaper it becomes per unit (in this case per nights). Very interesting thinking. It may be tricky to handle on Airbnb's part, accounting wise (no longer a fixed booking fee, but a changing one) and maybe a bandwidth eater.
This give me an idea, but it still needs a lot of clean-up work. 😎
