Many rentals are set up as yours but you have to market to the audience that would be receptive. Not written in stone but usually it is parents with kids, because if someone has to use the bathroom in the middle of the night they need access to my bedroom were I am asleep. Kids okay but another adult couple maybe not.
A family is probably interested in a week stay. Rewrite your ad pages focused on that rather than longer stays. What sights can the family enjoy, nearby family friendly dining and maybe other transportation options if non driving is preferred.
A smoke detector and a carbon dioxide monitor are both very inexpensive items, parents want their children safe. That will effect people making their decision.
