Hello @Amber1049 !
First, that looks a beautiful and very spacious home. I love the kitchen! Love the clean and simple black and white.
Suggestion based on my own experience; get professional photographs. Spend the extra money for someone who specializes in real estate photography. When I first listed my property I took my own photos, it was okay. Once I got professional photos, it had a big impact on the number of views and bookings. My property is in a very competitive market and since I got pro photos, I get bookings even in the off season now.
I would also work on the listing description. Little confusing, do you also live somewhere on the property?
Have you had your first booking yet? Getting that first booking is one of the most exciting things! Then a satisfied and happy guest!
Good luck Amber!
Zach

congrats on ur listing @Amber1049 . can see the hardwork work gone behind making it a cozy homestay.
i received a request from @Paula to suggest if there are any areas for improvement.
one area which is evident is that you have a light grey theme and you have taken pictures with curtains drawn/closed, inadequate lighting, which makes the place look small and poorly ventilated.
so i would recommend you to take pictures during daytime with the curtains open and with all lights switched on. also take a night shot of exteriors with barbeque/bonfire to bring life to the wonderful place you have.
all the best. once again, welcome to the community.
Hi @Amber1049,
I’m thrilled to see your listing on Airbnb and excited to hear that your guests are having great experiences staying at your property. I have a small suggestion that might help you elevate your listing even further.
When taking photos, try using high-quality, well-composed shots. You can use your phone’s built-in gridlines to guide you and ensure that the photos are straight. Clear and level photos make a big difference in showcasing your space. As a potential guest, I’d love to see more detailed angles of your property to help me imagine staying there.
I hope these little tips are helpful to you! Wishing you the best on your hosting journey.
Best Regards,
Johnson
Hi @Amber1049, congratulations on your listing and welcome to the community!
I have a few suggestions as an architect /interior designer, the exteriors and the interior aesthetics vary a lot in your property. It would be great if you could try to bring little elements of the exterior and incorporate them in the space within to give more feeling of warmth and connection. Let in the light, let in the breeze and reflect the same in the pictures.
Invest in pastels and light coloured upholstery if you can to give the room a feeling of openness.
You've got a lovely yard and I'm sure a lot of guests will be excited to spend time there. Some comfortable seating in these areas will also add value to your listing, could be foldable and portable furniture so that maintaing them at any weather is not an issue.
Feel free to reach out if you think the suggestions help. Good luck!
