Late checkout fee

Hi there,

my upcoming guest has asked me to pay for a late checkout of 6 and half hours from the checkout time.

What would be a reasonable fee to ask?

I read an Airbnb article suggesting 60% of the nightly rate, which is 800€, but that seems a bit too much for me.

thank you for your message.

I was actually still hoping I could get some advice on this matter.

Nevertheless, I think I will be charging around 50% of the nightly rate since the guests will be extending their stay for more than half day after the checkout time.

What are you thoughts about this? Many thanks
