Hello, I have a very specific question for the experienced hosts as I am not. I manage an apartment but I am not the one who is doing the cleaning before guests come. The cleaner stays only 3 hours in the apartment to clean and fix the beds. I was wondering which one would be more time and money efficient: buying a dryer or using a laundry service?

@Denise1528 have you priced the laundry service in your area? There are inexpensive portable dryers out there, the ones you plug in

How are you managing I have just started in Manchester how u managing ur laundry and cleaning
@Denise1528 you'd have to look at the kw/h charge you are getting on your electricity bill, and then work out how many kw/h a dryer will use. that will give a rough idea of the "cost" (although you need to factor in the cost of the machine too)
a "laundry service" means you get clean sheets and return them used? It might work out to be a good deal because you don't have to invest in sheets or worry about stains. you'd have to spreadsheet it I think, you work out the costs involved.
Thank you for the input. I already did as you suggested and it appears that buying a dryer is cheaper. Now all l have to do is to find an efficient and fast dryer 🤦🏽♀️
Considering the limited time for cleaning, opting for a laundry service could be more time and cost-efficient. It ensures professional handling of linens without the need for investing in a dryer or spending extra hours managing laundry. Streamlining the process allows for a focus on overall guest experience and property upkeep.
