Hi all
My property is at the bottom of the search results - after those that have no or fewer stars than my property. Any idea why this is or what I can do about getting it higher up the page?
thank you
J
@Judeline1 , the page looks fine, so you might try jiggling the account - like swapping photos or adjusting the commentary. I suspect the system reacts to hosts who are actively on the move.. just a thought.
Good luck with it. Cheers Charles.
Thank you for the tip - will give it a go
@Judeline1 the biggest thing to move up the search rankings seems to be bookings. Bit of a catch 22 I am afraid!
Also Instant Book switched on seems to help a lot.
Basically if you follow all of Airbnb's request (Pets allowed, flexible cancellation policy etc) then you will be higher up the rankings - The 'cost' of these is too much for us however.
Ah - that's interesting as there are other properties that don't even have a star so how do they get ahead? I thought top properties were 'star-based'
I'm with you on the cost of the other options
Thank you for your advice
@Judeline1 new listings also get a boost in the search ratings so that may explain why no-star properties are above you.
