Listing will not update

Good morning,  I have seen this issue in the community but never a resolution.  I updated my listing to remove the kitchen as an amenity and thought it was set and done.  Did not realize that it was never updated on the backend until I told a guest they couldn't use the kitchen and they pointed out it was in my listing.  I have uninstalled the app on my phone, cleared the cache, tried a different browser and a different computer, but I can not get this to update.  

 

Someone that has gone through this before,  how did you finally solve this issue?  Thanks!

Your listing shows kitchen is not included, so probably you managed to update it.

Hi,  that was my work around.  If you go under amenities, the kitchen shows up as part of the amenities package and I can't seem to remove it

I am sorry, but if i visit your listing

and click on "show all 29 amenities",  it says under section "not included": kitchen.

So you do not offer a kitchen.

 

 

Are you looking at it through your web browser?  I can't seem to get the app to update it.  Any chance you can check the same listing on the App on your phone?  Thanks if you are able

@Jessica2110 Just a quick thought - If guests booked before your change to kitchen availability then they will expect (rightly) that the kitchen is available to them.

Which is what I had to do, apologize and tell them they can use the kitchen as per the listing.  Airbnb making me look bad.

@Jessica2110 my experience is that it is better to use the desktop version rather than the app when making changes to a listing. Sometimes changes done through the app do not take, so I never trust the app for important changes.

Thanks for the advice.  It seems on the web the change has stuck.  I am not sure on the app since when I check it on my phone after uninstalling the App and reinstalling it still shows the kitchen being available.  Doesn't really make any sense.
