Making a note on my calendar

I blocked a date on my calendar.  Why can I no longer make a note on a blocked date on my calendar?

Did you opt in early to the Summer Release today? Were you trying to add a note in the App or on your computer?

Hi Joan, I'm a host and I am trying to add a note to a day on my calendar.  I have a date blocked for a family stay and I want to add a note as a reminder to myself. I was able to do this before the new release but I can't find the option to do it now. I'm currently using the app on my Android phone.

To be honest, I'd like to opt out of the Summer Release. It is of no benefit to me other than to clutter my listing.

If you already opted in early to the new release you can't switch back.

I believe Airbnb has tied the ability to add notes to only guest reservations now (based on watched the video of the release). We don't opt-in early to new releases so I can't verify that.

So when you click a date on a computer (not the App) does the right panel still appear to "add a private note"?

It doesnt open to allow me to add a note on a block date.

Sounds like a bug with the new release...inability to add notes to the calendar.

When I responded to @Donna610 and @Mary7072  , the Q&A was still open 😊. It has since closed. As always, Hosts can still contact CS and/or provide feedback.

It’s not a bug. I called them. You just can’t add notes anymore. Very frustrating.

Sigh...I'm hoping that's not the case. Not sure you can totally rely on what CS tells you. You'll get different answers every time you call.
