Management company

Hi

I currently have one property managed by a management company.

They send me a monthly statement detailing occupancy and what was paid for each period.

Is there a way of finding out the actual amount paid by clients as the statement is made by the company and l have no way of checking when property was booked and for how much.

Simple, insist on having access to the calendar and since it is your place (not theirs) your request should be understandable.

Perhaps there should be a 'Calendar View Only'  access offered by Airbnb for owners who use a management company.

You can go in you Airbnb account and you can see the amount paid by customers and transferred to you. In the other hand, can you share the performance of those properties management companies, is there a real increase in occupancy rate and Incomes

Hi

thank you for your reply.

the property was listed by the management company so l don’t have access to it.

should they be giving me access

This is depending on the contract with them but I don’t think that they will give you access but you have to have a way to get this. May be if you can count by away or another the rented nights otherwise the only solution is to give you access.

You should never agree to work with a management company that doesn't give you access to your listing.

they should have advised you to set up the listing in your name and have themselves added as your cohost host so you have access to all guest correspondence and your bookings

If you decide not to work with them going forward you will lose all your ratings and reviews

what does it say in your contract with them about access to your listing?
