Managing linked calendars for multiple listings from ONE house

We have a four bedroom, two bathroom house that I would like to list multiple times (4bed/2bath; 3bed/2bath; 2bed/2bath). with different rates for each. I think I can do this and have all the calendars linked. However my preference is to get bookings at the highest rate with the 4bed/2bath, so would like to block the other listings off and only unblock them when there are gaps in the calendar. So my question is can I have three linked calendars and block dates in one without it blocking dates in the others? I really only want the bookings to be reflected in each calendar, not the blocked dates.

I'm sure someone will ask why I don't just charge per person with one listing and my answer is if someone books a 4 bedroom home you have to have all four bedrooms available to them. Also people will still go into any spare rooms and lay or jump on beds which just creates more work and more washing.

We will lock the doors of the other bedrooms so only the booked number of bedrooms is available to the guest.

I get the concept what you are trying to do, but there isn't an elegant solution I can see.

The whole point of interlinked calendars after all is one blocked day blocks all.

Perhaps the only way is to have very high base prices in the diminutive listings to suppress possible bookings, then to manually adjust prices when you have the gaps you want to fill from the primary listing.

You could also set the minimum stay - maximum stay limits on the minor listings too also to prevent bookings, only to adjust trip lengths using the custom setting tools for gap filling.
