Hi!

Here's my listing https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/565386114491949523

Here's my search parameters. I am on private browsing. https://tinyurl.com/y28pepra I created a tinyurl in order to shrink the length of the real URL

Using basic filters: superhost, free parking, kitchen, wifi, instant book, self check-in, entire home, house.

Different search parameters with 13 filters: tinyurl.com/2munskp4 Screenshot 2022-12-09 at 21-36-00 Vacation Homes & Condo Rentals - Airbnb.png

Another search parameter:  flexible date, my city, December, weekend. I'm getting search results that show 50% of Southern California tinyurl.com/yt48ea4a

@William1884  Yes, this was the behavior I saw, except I was in incognito mode. So that blows my hypothesis that incognito mode has something to do with this.

I actually was seeing your listing right away in regular mode, but that might be because I had previously found your listing using an  alternative method (like searching by title), so when I searched subsequently using your filters, your listing was already in my browser cache. Airbnb tends to re-show you listings in which you have previously shown interest.

I think it’s futile to try to figure out what’s going on, and I doubt CS has any knowledge of Airbnb’s algorithms. The best you will get from CS is “Our algorithms are optimized to consider what has been shown to us to be the optimal travel preferences of our guests”, or some other carefully constructed marketspeak.

@Pat271 I tried Googling my listing name and my property only shows up on Bulgarian domain. Why it doesn't show a  US domain bewilders me.

When I search your Wailea 2/2 listing, it shows up in several websites, and most importantly, your listing is first (not including the ad) and on a US domain.

Your Downtown 2/2 listing is also first and easily visible.

I'm at wits end here. I may need to create a duplicate listing or start a new account.

Why not use the custom link that Airbnb allows you to create?

Here's mine https://airbnb.com/h/saturdaysrawai

I normally use Bitly.com as a link tracker like this https://bit.ly/3NScpU4

@Sudsrung0 I haven't been able to come up with a worthy name for my listing.

Hello William , I think certain houses simply do not appear on the gps system that Airbnb currently use. They have 'disappeared' . This is either through a selection system deliberately designed or simply an inadequate cheap gps sytem which has not been updated.    H
