Hi, my bookings have stalled and I think it's because I've been booked out for a few weeks but still have lots of peak dates...
Hello!
We posted our listing 1,5 months ago. We have gotten over 40 bookings.
If i go on airbnb and choose to look for any property, ours will not show up even tho if you zoom all the way in.
We have tried with extern accounts, ip etc..
In terms of algorithm, should not ours be pretty easy to see on the map?
If you search for our town and look for it on the map, it will not show up.
This was not a problem when we first posted the listing, but started recently.
On the picture below, i have explained in the caption where it is supposed to be. (Right of Langøyvika)

It was solved. It was because we had set it to ''General area'' and not Spesific. Yes we do have that amount of booking, spanding to June this year.. We opened and it took off, just so that is out of the way.
I am not sure how personal reviews work, but the Listing has 4 as of now. I am Co-Host so that is mentioned.
The algorithm actually works better then expencted now that this is fixed.
The reason why everything is closed is because march was 70% booked and it just got to much to handle, so just for now.
@Marius231 I assume you have a cohost, since the person on your listing is not Marius, but Lise.
When I put in available dates for Vestland, Norway, I actually do see your property.
When I don’t put in any dates, I don’t see your property. This is a common problem many of us have encountered since last year’s Summer Release. Airbnb has changed its algorithm to selectively display certain properties. None of us know, for sure, all of the criteria they use.
Luckily, most guests will be searching for specific dates. However, I think it is still valuable to us hosts to accommodate the guests who are just browsing the area. Perhaps they want to find the place in the location they want first, and then they’ll work on exact dates.
Hopefully, Airbnb is working on this algorithm to make it more representative of the properties actually available in the mapped area.
Have you tried calling Airbnb Customer Service? They are not typically the developers, but maybe they will have some idea about why yours isn’t showing up without dates.
Indeed, i am co-host. I see you are right, i put in dates and in weekends it is actually on top.
Let us hope they fix this, i do not see any cause to why it would not show up on the map compared to any of the other properties nearby.
I will contact airbnb support, thank you!
Hi @Marius231
Feel free to come back and let us know how you get on with Support.
My thanks to @Pat271 for popping in to help - very much appreciated.

@Marius231 you appear to have no reviews but you say you have over 40 bookings. Your calendar seems completely full . This may fool the algorithymn into thinking that you are not hosting. Are your bookings from Airbnb.? You personally have no reviews but your co host has four ?Does this mean that you are hosting two pages at once for the same property , I dont think that is able to be done so could explain why the system is dropping you out. Let us know if you find out ?Do you possibly turn up on the gps as a different location to that which you know yourself locally . sometimes I think the gps does not sync properly ..Its a tricky one for sure. Some people have managed to solve it through CS... H
