Just saw this appear today - guests can switch to satellite view on the map when searching:

Just as well we still have Cartographic records and paper Maps and Atlases we can always use.

There's a very good reason for retaining Paper based systems and materials, and exercising ones brain without using a computer!

We still have our ones from our Italian adventures together with other Guidebooks... Very helpful with planning travel and accommodation and easier to read.

Saves on water and the environment to as paper is sustainable and has a 10001 plus uses. 

When we read some of the additional features ABB now have, they are  incorporating Morse Code and other navigation systems of old. 

Look for the 56th Tree in the shape of a triangle on the dirt road past the farmers cattle on the right!

Who needs digital satellite maps???

Not in The Netherlands (yet).

Could be useful for guests wanting to arrive by air balloon 🤔

I hope Streetview will not be introduced, because Airbnb is most likely using Google technolgy and on my request my properties are invisible (blurred out) on Streetview.

😂I think only guests concerned the listing might be next to a night club or bar, or if they want to know exactly what the satellite view shows as to where you are located to a popular attraction will matter. 

With Google maps you can blur the street view, but your property address can still be found on line and not blurred. Doubtful Airbnb will be using Street View, but one never knows 🤔
