Hi everyone! I started hosting in mid-September this year, and it’s been a positive experience so far. I’m really grateful for this Airbnb opportunity! I’d love to get advice from experienced hosts, as I’m aiming to become a Superhost and I want to earn it the right way.
Also, I have a question: Is it normal that I don't longer see my listing when I search for it in my town on my family’s Airbnb app? In the first few weeks, it was easy to find, but now it doesn’t come up as readily. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
Best regards,
Ann

Hi @Ann45848
Yes, when you start out there's a bit of a boost in the search results to get you going. After that, you have to hope for a good position like the rest of us!
The fact that you don't see your listing when you search on a device that isn't logged into your account, doesn't mean nobody is seeing your listing, but it could mean that at the moment it's not frequently being prominently displayed. Similarly, doing the "right" things doesn't guarantee you will consistently rank highly, it just means there's an increased chance that you will rank well. Here's a list of what Airbnb would like to see you do, hope it helps:
Hello, yes make sure you’re checking the app and making sure that you are checking off all of the prompts such as; utensils, patio furniture, child safety measures and so on. When you first get going they will pop up randomly so the more you check off the more visible it becomes. Hope that helps!
