New to hosting.

My wife and I are new to hosting, we have listed our 1st house and we are really having trouble with the calendar. We were told by the previous owner that Saturday to Saturday is best due to the season and availability of a cleaning service.

With the 4th being on a Saturday we wanted to modify our calendar for that week to friday to friday and was told by support its not possible because of the default Saturday to Saturday.  Any and all help or criticism on our listing would be greatly appreciated.

@Bill1859  Are there nightly restrictions in your area that you have to rent for 7 days? If not I would not limit yourself to Saturday to Saturday bookings.  These days,  people just can't travel for 7 days and most bookings are 4-5 nights.  15 years ago when I started hosting 7 days was more the norm and I now do 3-4 night minimums for my spaces.  

I understand the housekeeping end of it as that is always a challenge.  I would find a service that can do check outs on alternative days. Just my 2 cents as I think you are leaving a lot of money on the table.
