I'm a new host and I’ve been trying to add a payout bank account, but I’m unable to proceed because the system keeps sending a verification code to my registered mobile number, and I’m not receiving any of them. This is already my third day attempting to send and receive the code, and I keep getting locked out for 24 hours after maxing out the “send code again” attempts. Please help!

Here are a few things that usually fix the verification code problem:
1. Make sure your number is saved in full international format
Example: +63 + mobile number (without the first 0)
2. Switch your phone to SMS only
Some carriers filter automated text messages. Turning off call/SMS filters or spam protection can help.
3. Try using a different phone number temporarily
You can add another number under:
Account → Personal info → Phone numbers
Once verified, you can switch back later.
4. Don’t keep hitting “Send code again”
Airbnb auto-locks the account after multiple attempts — waiting 24 hours before trying again helps reset the system.
5. If nothing arrives after that, contact Airbnb Support directly
Ask them to manually verify your phone number or to push the verification code from their side.
They can bypass the glitch and get your payout method open.
You’re doing everything right — this is just a technical hiccup, not something you caused. Once support helps push the code through, your payout setup should go smoothly. 🌟
If you’re not receiving the SMS, try tapping “Other options.” I selected WhatsApp instead, and I received my verification code there.
Hi, thanks @Patricia2526 ! Sadly, my phone number and “add a new number” are the only options available. When I press “add a new phone number,” the prompt “Verify your account using the code we sent to your phone number” keeps popping up. 🥲
@Olivia-Faye0 Ah you probably don’t have WhatsApp account yet? Because my options are thru email, WhatsApp etc

Hi @Elisa , thanks! But every time I open my Airbnb app, the confirmation pop-up keeps appearing and asking for the code. I can’t press X because it continuously pops up 😞
