Yes...this is a bug as a result of the latest software release. We're told it's being worked on?
You can add notes on a reservation, but not unbooked or blocked dates. The work around is to turn on Professional Hosting Tools and add a note using the multi-calendar. You can only do this on a computer; not in the App.
