@Art13692 Many thousands do yes. From hosts who share the property with a guest through those who, like us, use a wing of our building for 3 apartments.

My Airbnb listing is a guest house on the same property where I live in the main house.

Yes, we have a guesthouse with four rental spaces and we live on a separate level than our than our guests.  We also have some spaces that we host remotely, but have relatives or neighbors living next door that can provide assistance, if necessary.  We find that being on site or very close by helps provides guests a sense of security and also helps prevent unregistered guests and prohibited parties.
