Open Calendar for booking.

My calendar is open three months in advance. Someone would like to book for a weekend in September. Because it is blocked they can’t book it yet. How do I open up an extra month or the dates he is requesting?

Go to your calendar. Click the date(s) you want to make available. Click "Open Night."

As Debra says, make sure the guest is aware that they can book and should do so quickly because these dates are now available for anyone to search/book.

@Joy1294,

You will have to coordinate with the guest a time period to make their reservation, and temporarily expand your booking window to six months.  Then reset it back to three months after the reservation has been made.

Thanks all, so much!!

This was so easy, but you don’t know what you don’t know!  Thanks and can I ask you another question? I have a Friday stipulation that it has to be a two night minimum. Occasionally when someone doesn’t book I want to open just that weekend (not all of them) to accept a one night minimum. As one night is better than no nights.

And another problem I have. I have it set to a two night minimum but occasionally someone books Thursday and Friday nights together for the two night minimum and I’m left with an empty Saturday night. I would rather that not happen because I don’t clean on Saturday and it wrecks my higher Saturday night fee. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

@Joy1294 To open up a date for a one night booking, use the same process. Click the date, then click Edit Availability, then Make Open Nights, then click the bo to make one night available.

To restrict check in and check out on any day of the week (in your cases Saturday) you will need to recreate a Rule Set. You can do this by selecting a date and adding your new "rule" to that specific date.

I would really suggest just going into your calendar every once in awhile and paying around with different settings.

You have to expand your booking window
