Please check my listing

Hi all,

My name is Ilham, from Marrakech Morocco.

I've listed my apartment nearly a year now and I had no booking so far...

I would be very grateful if you guys can take a look at my listing see if there's anything I could do, add or change so I can get some bookings happening...

Many thanks

I'm sorry you haven't had any bookings! Your apartment is beautiful, and it looks like it's in a great area.

Here are my tips from looking at your photos:

  1. Add artwork to the walls. They are very plain.
  2. Show the view from outside the windows.
  3. Order your photos so that the most interesting ones appear first in the general photos and home tour. I would start with the seating area. It screams "Morocco."
  4. Be sure to select your default image for the listing. This is the one that will show up in search. This should be the best photo. I might use the exterior shot for this, but the master bedroom is always a good choice too.
  5. Get rid of similar photos. There are too many photos of the dining area that don't offer anything different.
  6. Make the beds. People don't want to see photos of the mattresses without the sheets and blankets.
  7. Show photos of inside the cabinets and drawers if you provide cookware, dishware, silverware, etc.
  8. Get a closeup shot of the Nespresso.
  9. Add more exterior photos and show nearby places if there are any nearby businesses. Add a photo of Marrakech.
  10. Are there any amenities in the building? If so, show photos. Also show a photo of the lobby or entrance and perhaps stairs or elevator.

Listing details

Your listing title is pretty generic. You can use up to 50 characters, and I suggest using them all to describe your place. "Entire Moroccan Apartment in Marrakesh - Sleeps 4" is 49 characters.

You talk about the closets with ample space, but don't show them. Include as many details as possible in your photos.

Add more details about the neighborhood. What is nearby: coffee shops, restaurants, stores? It looks like some businesses will be walkable.

You can offer a discount to get more listings. If you discount by 20%, your listing could be featured in emails.

It looks like you do have a lot of time blocked off in January. In my experience, a lot of people book their reservations closer to their stay.

Many many thanks

@Ilham62 , I totally agree with @Casey464 ! You have a good starting point and the place looks great. However you need to avoid repetition photos that show very similar angles of your place. You can add some photos of your neighborhood or a highlight that gives the vibe of the area. I also recommend to add a few touches here and there that can give a sense of warmth. Good luck to you and your airbnb for 2026!

Thanks so much @David13337

Very much appreciated.
