I was a vrbo host for 15 yrs. Pretty familiar with scams, altho I had very few scam requests. Just want to know other host's experience with a request I had today on my new rental. One resv request came thru with a first name "Jack". The blurb about people and pets was well written and brief. Then right behind that request was another request for same dates with another name Istvan. This request wanted to know my 'id'. The Jack request said member sinc 2016, and the second name, 2017. I think it is a scam, but would like others input on this and have you experienced this? I have rec'd 5 legit requests already in only a month of my listing for a small window of time. Not desperate at all for the money.
