I recently listed my townhome in mid-February, and would like honest feedback as to what you will tweak.

I’m based in Montreal and I’m doing a small research project on Airbnb operations (especially hosts managing 1–6 listings).
I wanted to ask you all, sincerely: What is your number one problem when it comes to cleaning / turnovers? (For example: reliability, tight schedules, quality, communication, availability, pricing, etc.)
I’m asking because I’ve seen many different experiences, and I’d love to understand what causes the most stress for hosts—especially here in Montréal where the market can be intense. Thanks to everyone who shares their insight. I really appreciate it.

Hi Zakarie,
I manage 1 listing, the main concern is guests reviews I really hate waiting . We've had nothing but 5 stars so that makes it worst, anything less than 5 will be a blow. My husband & I clean the apartment & are time pressed depending when the current guest checks out, how bad they have left the apartment and when the next guest checks in.
I can't explain what it's like opening the apartment door after checkout & what's waiting for you, it's a hold your breath moment.
As we have an apartment , parking is a premium guests want to stay past check out & want to park before check in at 2pm.
We have stopped the 1 day stays, they are the worst, they leave the apartment as a tip & use everything , whereas longer stays respect the apartment and keep it somewhat tidy & don't eat us out of house & home since we leave a stocked fridge & panty.
Thanks so much for your question @Zakaria140. Welcome to the Community Center 😊
What brings you here?
I'm tagging a few hosts from the area who may be able to share if they have faced any challenges, or if they're lucky enough to not have any... @Hitomi3, @Dorah3 and @Jim2635.
Hi Rebecca, thanks a lot for the warm welcome! 😊 I’m looking forward to hearing what issues (big or small) they've all faced, and how they solved them.
No worries @Zakaria140, are you a host yourself, as I couldn't see a listing on your profile?
