Question

Hi

I'm new to AIRBNB Host and does anyone know what this red circle in a date means? It started showing this to my airbnb calendar but I haven't had any booking yet.

Thank you.

A red circle around a date means it is a festive day (like Easter,Christmas etc..)

If a date has a fully red colored circle, it means it is the current date !

But there are dates in my calendar that is now showing for whole two weeks with this red circle around it and is not a festive date.

I see your listing is in Greater London.

Is there something special in those dates ?

High demand for accommodation, to alert you to increase price (?)

Maybe other (UK) host knows the answer.....

(My calender shows only red circle on festive days).

There's nothing festive during this time and I haven't received communication for a first booking yet. Just wondering if this is because someone is planning but have not completed reservation, but is in their basket, etc.

Hello @Thomas-William1, Would it be possible for you to share a screenshot of your calendar? This will make it easier for the host community to provide some advice.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I would like to reach out to @Joan2709  and @Joelle43 to see if they can help us understand what this could be.

Looking forward to their reply.

Looks like you are using a PMS? Calendar says settings are limited and that usually appears when a PMS is connected. Hosts not connected to a PMS can click the date and the right panel displays the holiday or event. I would look at your calendar on your PMS and see if there are any notes on the dates.

Are you also using dynamic pricing like PriceLabs? Pricelabs shows holidays and events, but that is not transmitted to the Airbnb Calendar.

Internet says June 13-21, 2026, features the monarch's birthday celebrations and Father's Day, but they are not public holidays.

@Helen3 any ideas?
