Renting my timeshare at New York City Resort

I have a timeshare with Wyndham. I reserved a room at the Club Wyndham 45 in Manhattan. I have listed it.  Airbnb is wanting me to register my listing with NYC. Is this a requirement? Please help!

Yes of course you need to abide by your local STR regulations @Trevor-And-Nancy0 

Look at the STR regulations on your city government website to see if you fir their criteria .
