Hello everyone,
I have been using yale linus for my other apartment but it doesnt work very smoothly due to its wireless keypad.
So for new apartment after a lot of research I have Installed schelage encode plus , but it doesnt connect with Airbnb. When I try to connect it from schelage app it says LINKED to Airbnb, but it doesnt send codes to guests at all. When I try to relink it , in the next steps on Airbnb app it says Smart lock integration is not available yet. I have contacted airbnb and they say it is already connected.
I do not know what is wrong can any help with this issue or have faced the same problem.
Solution in support says disconnect from apple home kit but I have never connected to Home kit in the first place.
Do you use Apple Home Kit for other devices even though you didn't connect the lock to Apple Home Kit?

No I do not use apple home kit at all. I used Google home generally but for other devices like TV etc..
Do you also use schelage lock in Europe ?
We are US based and I have helped Hosts who use Schlage locks. Be sure to follow all Airbnb's guidelines when connecting the lock. You might have to disconnect it from Airbnb and try reconnecting after checking to ensure the lock has not connected to Google Home.
These are just suggestions, as I'm definitely not a lock expert. I would read through Airbnb's instructions:

- Be sure your lock is not connected to Google Home
I would check the settings in the Schlage App and Google Home and make sure the lock is not connected to Google Home. You may have to disable Google Home until you get the lock integrated with Airbnb first.
Thanks for the information, I have tried everything in Airbnbs instruction but I will try to delete the lock and reconnect it. while there is no homekit active. Thanks again.

I'm sorry to hear you've ran into some issues with this lock! Did you get a chance to try to delete the lock and reconnect it while there is no homekit active as Joan suggested?

Not yet, I am waiting to do it when the guests checkout. I will delete it and will delete the homekit app maybe? Because I checked everything there is no homekit active on my phone or no other device near the lock.
