I am just setting up a listing for the first time. Any advice on hosting in our area?

Does anyone know if there is a local tax we need to pay? Any shared experiences? advice?

Would you mind sharing the area in which your listing would be located in? It will be easier for members to come up with advice if they get an idea about it.
