I just listed my home in Effingham, S C. I initially started in Sept. 2023, however had to shut down site for personal reasons.
I called and asked Airbnb if they could take down the (5) mos. of hosting because to me if I were to go to my site and see (5) mos. of hosting and only three people stayed in my home it would be a red Flagg, assuming something’s wrong. Help! Any thought?
Hi @McCullough0
Don't believe there is anything Airbnb can do to remove the 5 month gap.
You could consider creating a new listing and deleting the current one since you only had two reviews anyway. This would give you the *New* listing boost in search results.
@McCullough0 I think you're overthinking it. Seriously.
Guests are not going to give it that much thought, or even care.
What if you had a long-term guest who ended up not leaving a review? That could account for a big gap in renters/reviews. Just leave it be.
Hey @McCullough0,
What did Airbnb Support say when you called? It would be great to hear how you've resolved your issue. 😊
