Switching co-hosts / property management software

Switching co-hosts / property management software

I am switching my co-host, and changing property management software in the process. I am the owner of the listing, and will be deleting the exiting co-host / adding the new co-host. When I add the new co-host, will future confirming bookings be affected? Or does the calendar sync to the new software once added?

As long as you set up the listing you can add and remove cohosts as you like @Gina2725  it won't affect your bookings but you would need to agree how the commission split will work with the original cohost (check your contract with them).

 

I can't see why adding new management software would affect your existing booking but do talk through with your new cohost . Part of what you pay them for is their knowledge of the STR platforms and management software that you use.

In addition to @Helen3 's advice, it can be tricky removing one PMS and adding a new one. 

 

Just be sure the connection to the old PMS is removed on your account before adding the new one. Sometimes this can take a few days. Check your account settings and ensure the old one is not still appearing before adding the new one.
