Syncing Multiple Listing Calendar Availability
So, I see good comments regarding the calendar syncing for booking multiple rooms in a whole house. I'm attempting to do that in setting up my listings (3). I think I've done that by designating a main booking (2 bedrooms) then syncing the 2 other listing that are for booking the two bedrooms separately. This is my first time setting up like this. My question is, I see that the availability calendars don't seem to by syncing. Do the availability dates not sync? Do I need to select the availability for each listing?
Supposedly ABNB has updated the whole calendar syncing thing lately. The information posts here are a little older so I'm wondering if anyone has more recent experience with this. Thank you.

There are no listings attached to your profile, so they are probably created under another account.
To link calendars for multiple listings (only possible for a primary host):

Hello @Gaby364, host Emiel has shared some great advice. Have you had a chance to read it?
Are the listings created under someone else’s account?
Keep us posted.

@Paula I had not listed yet but now I have one listed and getting the other two ready. I think I read somewhere that the "availability" calendar needs to be set for each listing; the calendar syncing is only for reservations not overlapping. I will take a suggestion I saw in the community center that maybe to keep one or two of the three listing as a "request".

Thank you for sharing this extra context, @Gaby364, it’s very helpful!
I’m tagging a few hosts here who might be able to help us confirm whether this setup is correct or if there are any additional things you may want to consider: @Joan2709 and @Shelley159 would you mind sharing your thoughts here? 🙏
Regards,

Hi @Gaby364
I do see all 3 of the listings on your profile now. @Emiel1 has shared the important help article that you can use to make sure you've set things up correctly.
When the calendars sync, a booking of one bedroom should be blocked on the calendar of that bedroom and of the whole unit, but the calendar for the other bedroom should still be open. A booking of the whole unit should block all 3 listings' calendars.
For a start it may be good to do as you suggest - perhaps use request to book to the extent that you have time to get used to the setup until you're comfortable everything works correctly.
@Joan2709 dislikes Instant Book, so I predict she may say you should permanently stick to Request to Book for all 3 listings😀
One does feel more comfortable about what's right for you over time, so get some bookings going and you'll soon have it all figured out. Do keep a close eye on your calendar in the beginning - you can always quickly block a date manually if needed.
