Trip Length - Error trying to set Custom Minimum Length requirement

I had this setting for a while (always worked fine when I updated it to extend a bit longer):

About a month ago something got updated and now when I'm trying to extend the rule later on in 2021 it gives me the error about maximum stay being 27 nights:

Well, clearly from the selection made I do allow stays longer than 27 nights. Why now I can't make a rule for the certain custom period to allow stays longer than 27 nights then? Looks like a recently introduced bug to me that I want to be fixed, but I can't get a meaningful support over the phone from Airbnb.

Thanks!

There is some strange logic here, which i do not understand at first glance.

You have by default maximum stays set to 27 nights, but you want a rule for a long time period setting minimum stay to 28 nights ?

Besides the error: Better use the rulesets from the calender, they have probably not such bugs, have more options  and are more easy to manage.

Best regards,

Emiel

Hi Emiel,

thanks for the reply! The name of the fields is a bit confusing here, but in simple words Maximum Stay field is not really Max limit, it just gives you the option to specify Max nights for the instant book and then more than N (27 nights in my case) be either blocked completely or allowed to go through as a booking request (this is what I selected) therefore having 28 nights min stay for specified period makes sense since I allow stays longer than 27 nights. So error clearly looks like a bug to me.

What kind of other rules are you suggesting? I don’t see how I can control trip length through just the calendar...

Thanks,

Olga
