I am writing this public notice to report a critical failure of Airbnb Support and an unacceptable malfunction of the Resolution Center UI, which is actively preventing me from exercising my rights under the AirCover for Hosts policy.
My guests committed multiple severe breaches of contract, explicit House Rules, and Airbnb’s Terms of Service:
- Unauthorized Occupancy: They smuggled four (4) unregistered, unknown individuals into my property.
- Commercial Exploitation: They brought heavy professional photography and videography equipment into the premises, transforming a residential booking into a commercial production set without consent.
- Commercial Blackmailing / Extortion: Following the unauthorized production, the guests engaged in targeted commercial extortion against me.
I possess absolute, irrefutable digital and physical evidence of all the above violations. The total financial damage, including unauthorized commercial use, property depreciation, and subsequent losses, stands at €9,000.
The Failure of Airbnb Support:
The Resolution Center system is technically broken, forcing an arbitrary ceiling of €893 on my dashboard and blocking any four-digit entry. This is a direct violation of Airbnb’s promise that AirCover protects hosts up to $3M.
Furthermore, Tier 1 Support has engaged in continuous stalling (kolytsiergia) and bad-faith handling. Despite my explicit, repeated requests stating: "I request a formal escalation to the AirCover High-Value Property Damage/Trust & Safety Team," frontline agents refuse to transfer my case to a Supervisor or an AirCover Specialist.
This is a formal notice of dispute. I demand that an AirCover Specialist or a Support Supervisor contacts me immediately, overrides this technical glitch, and opens a manual case file for the full amount of €9,000.
If Airbnb continues to block my access to the AirCover process and shield guests who engage in commercial extortion, I am prepared to take this matter to formal Arbitration (per Airbnb Terms of Service), file a report with the European authorities, and pursue civil litigation against both the guests and the platform for negligence and breach of fiduciary duty.
