Unable to Access Hosting Tabs on Desktop - Only Home Page Visible

Hi everyone,

Since yesterday, I’ve been facing an unusual issue on the desktop version of Airbnb. I’m unable to access any of the hosting tabs such as Calendar, Listings, Messages, etc. The cursor moves over the tabs but clicking on them doesn’t do anything — essentially, the entire hosting interface is unresponsive on desktop.


Only the Home tab is visible and accessible. Interestingly, the Travel mode (guest features) works fine, and my Airbnb mobile app is functioning perfectly without any issues.


I’ve tried multiple browsers, different desktop & laptop but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this? Would really appreciate any advice or a fix from Airbnb support.

These are the usual troubleshooting steps: 

 

  • Log out (on all affected devices/browsers)
  • Close all browser windows/tabs (on all affected devices/browsers)
  • Open ONE new window (on all affected devices/browsers)
  • Clear cache and cookies and browser history (on all affected devices/browsers)
  • Delete & re-install app (if applicable)

 

Log in on ONE device (desktop) with email associated with your Airbnb account (not your phone number)

Many thanks for your prompt response. I did try this as I checked out previous posts on other threads. However it still didn't work, the case has been assigned to airbnb support & has been escalated to technical team. I am yet to find resolution to this issue.

Just curious...did you opt in early to the Summer Release? 

 

Some known weird bugs for Hosts that have.

Yes I did. So far it was working fine and this glitch developed 3 days ago..till date no resolution.

Another Host who opted in reported something odd. He was having issues after opting in and had heard that if you don't complete all the questions in your profile that it could cause issues.

 

He had 4 questions not answered on his profile. He then added answers to these questions and all of a sudden problem solved. Not sure why incomplete profiles would have anything to do with Hosting Tabs not working, but it's worth a shot.

 

I note that you are missing some answers in your profile. Go ahead and edit your profile and add answers to all questions. You can be a bit vague if you don't want to disclose some information.

 

Then logoof Airbnb on all devices and log back in on one device.

 

Let us know here if this works? Sounds crazy, but worth a shot.

Appreciate your response. I completed all sections of my profile and then logged out of all devices. Re login but the issue persists. No changes.

 

Did not hear from Airbnb support yet..
