Unable to remove custom setting

I cannot remove or edit a custom setting.  For example, I have the week of the 4th of July holiday set to 3 night minimum.  Now it is booked for 3 nights so I want to remove this requirement for the rest of the days in that week and go back to the default of 2 nights.  I am unable to do anything but delete the custom setting which will delete it system wide.
