Very few bookings in December 2024 in Melbourne

Hi everyone,

I would love some help/advise/explanation on this.

I have been hosting one of my rooms of my apartment in South Yarra, Melbourne for quite sometime. My room has always been popular and never had any problems with bookings. It's booked almost 100% of the time. For some reason, this month has been very quiet and I've only had bookings 50% of the time. If it was off-season, I wouldn't be alarmed but the fact it's been so slow in December which is a holiday period and summer is of some concern to me.

I wanted to ask if other hosts in Melbourne are experiencing the same issue or is it me? The reason for me asking is if it's got something to do with my listing, I will have to work on it. I have very good reviews and 4.86 stars.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
