Weekly Rental

Weekly Rental

I have a property in the historic district of Tampa, Florida.  They allow weekly rentals.  My question is what kind of supplies do I provide?  I will have cleaning supplies under the cabinet, but how do I know how many rolls of paper towels to toilet paper do I leave?  To me, it seems like a silly question but as a weekly rental, I look at it more as a hotel and they have someone to service it daily. 🤷🏻‍♀️ i’m hoping to put this one on by 1 July.

It really has to be determined by how many people for 7 days but then how much time do you project they will be in the property?  Is it close to a popular sites so minimum time or a luxury stay with a pool and hot tub so maximum activity in the property?

Then it really is your best estimate, if you stayed for 7 days with your target size group how much toilet paper would you want available?  Dependi8ng on your market, mine has never stolen toilet paper but Hosts do.  I just have extra in a storage cabinet, you can have a combination locked cabinet so they have to ask for the code and you are aware which hopefully makes them more conscious.  The big thing is someone waiting for toilet paper, will create a bad review.  Keep that cost in mind when designing your plan.

Thank you, makes sense.  I like the idea about the cabinet

Hi @Marie8425 .That’s a trust trade suggestion 👍 Agreed I  haven’t had guests being greedy on Toilet paper.

Thank You Alex!

Thank you @Alex on teasing me in. I agree with @Marie8425 on toilet papers. I also stick coffee pods, sugar, Tea sachet- however I add a note that these are stop gap essentials for emergency and not a full supply for the stay. I have them for a single serve depending on the booking number. The rest of linens and others goes with a request on use on essential need- trust and mutual respect works a big way. And always acknowledge the guest though your review if they have been mutually supportive on supplies as well.
Hope it helps @Brenda1769 . Happy hosting 🤩
