Would you hire cleaners individually or use a cleaning company?
For co-hosting. Would you have to hire cleaners individually or use a cleaning company?
to where you could automate their schedules, have it sent to the company allowing them to send their own cleaners. Or having it automated for the cleaners you hired
You can do whatever works best for you. Does make things much easier for you and the cleaner/cleaning team if you automate it, they can see when cleanings are needed and how many guests etc for setup!
@Taheem0 Great question. Cleaners are incredibly important and really your "front line" of defense for your property. Choosing cleaners wisely is one of the biggest decisions you can make. Your question is not so simple to answer as you put it. Here are a few points to consider:
Your management experience: Do you feel confident in managing a cleaner? Articulating your expectations, giving feedback, quality control, etc are important. If you are comfortable with that, then individual hires might be good.
Costs: Typically, you can hire an individual cleaner for less than a company. However, if you feel like there is no issue in charging a higher cleaning fee to cover costs, then a company might be ok.
How much work: How many cleanings are you needed each month? Are they same day turnovers? Sometimes an individual cleaner may have trouble getting tight schedules completed with quality. Companies have multiple employees and can cover more jobs with your demands.
Automation: There are different software/programs that allow you to automate cleaning schedules. Do you use a property management system (Hospitable, etc.)? Are you on multiple booking sites other than Airbnb? If so, then you might need a property management system to coordinate everything. On the other hand, an app like Turno is great at managing the cleanings.
