@Charles1166  You can add a one time Pet Fee to your listing.  Be sure to put it in your description, "Pets Welcome, $$ Fee".

I charge an additional cleaning fee for animals, and about 70% of my pet guests are paid for pre-arrival.  There are those owners who do not see the Pet guest checkbox when they start booking or think that Fifi is a service animal or ESA and they neglect to inform me or pay the fee.  If I find them out, they get a Resolution Center request for the Pet Fee and about half will pay it then.

Talk to your cleaner and determine what she will charge for the extra cleaning and removal of pet hair.  Fabric sofas and people who allow their pets to sleep with them (and they will do so even if you ask them not to) will require extra vacuuming and an extra sanitizing wash of the bed linens.

I send my housekeeper a calendar note every time that a pet will be in residence so she will be aware and will plan for the extra cleaning time required.

Note:  Isn't it amazing how much some pets will shed?  It's a wonder they aren't bald.
